An exciting new concept in safety leadership and developing work safety cultures – exploring principles of safety, culture and risk, understanding why some people take risks, the importance of emotional intelligence and developing skills for effective interventions.
The program aims to develop leadership skills, using OHS as the "window to the organisation".  The program is modelled on similar programs that have been conducted successfully in other countries (eg U.K., Canada, USA, Brazil) and for different organisations.
As programs are designed and developed specifically around the situation, culture and circumstances of specific schools, this program is only offered as an -in-house program. Nominally, the program is 3 days (spread over a term), with a 4th recall day two months later.
For details of this leadership program, contact OSHA or give us a call (03 9848 6788).

Are you frustrated by inefficiencies in your school's Health & Safety Committee?
Many committees suffer the same problems – no clear idea of a committee’s functions, a few people do most of the talking, no set procedures are followed and no action occurs.  Indeed, having a bad safety committee can be worse than having no committee at all.
